August Grant Writing Clinic: RCP Program Grant Applications

The Reconnecting Communities Institute (RCI) held a grant writing clinic to support communities in preparing strong grant applications in response to U.S. Department of Transportation’s FY24 Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) Program Notice of Funding Opportunity. The virtual clinic included presentations from DOT, current RCP grantees, and experts with deep experience in federal grant programs.

The agenda included:

• An overview of the RCP Program grant opportunity and RCI.
• A session on “Mastering the Art of Storytelling for Winning Grant Applications”
• A panel discussion and Q&A with previous grant recipients.
• A session on “Navigating Grant Administration from Budget to Closeout”
